By downloading, installing, or using the Lettie mobile application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the app.

Description of Service

Lettie is a mobile application that helps students create recommendation letter packets for university applications. The app uses AI technology (via API keys you provide) to generate personalized content including brag sheets, impact bullets, story maps, and draft paragraphs.

User Responsibilities

• You are responsible for ensuring all information you provide is accurate and truthful
• You must use the app in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
• You may not use the app for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your API keys and account information
• You are responsible for reviewing and customizing all generated content to ensure accuracy
• You must have the right to use any API keys you provide and comply with the terms of service of the API provider

API Keys and Third-Party Services

Lettie requires API keys from third-party AI service providers to function. You are responsible for:

• Obtaining and maintaining valid API keys
• Complying with the terms of service of any API providers you use
• Any costs associated with API usage
• Ensuring your API keys are kept secure

We are not responsible for the availability, performance, or terms of service of third-party API providers.

Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Lettie app are owned by us and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Content generated by the app using your information belongs to you, but you grant us a license to use anonymized data for improving our services.

Disclaimer

The recommendation letter packets and content generated by Lettie are for informational purposes only. Results are based on AI analysis and the information you provide. You are responsible for reviewing, customizing, and verifying all generated content before use. Lettie does not guarantee admission to any educational institution or the quality of recommendation letters written by third parties.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to:

• Any errors or inaccuracies in generated content
• Loss of data or information
• Issues with third-party API services
• Any decisions made based on content generated by the app

Subscription Terms

If you purchase a subscription through the App Store:

• Subscriptions are managed by Apple and subject to Apple's terms and conditions
• Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• You can manage your subscription and turn off auto-renewal in your Apple ID account settings
• No refunds will be provided for any unused portion of a subscription period

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time. Your continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the modified terms.

Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the app at any time, without prior notice, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms of Use.
